It's been said before i know ,but she's so cool.
The movies "Alien" and "Aliens" have been looked over or discounted because they are Sci-Fi, but they were/are very important when it comes changing the societal views of women. They both show that a woman can be a smart, savvy, leader and warrior and that a man in shining armor does not need to save the day--it's actually he who needs saving.

Me, too. I expected people would be more opposed to gay marriage, considering the awful ways gays behaved afterwards by blaming minorities and trying to get people fired if they contributed money to Prop 8.
I guess you expected them to roll over and behave. When you discriminate against people they get mad. There happens to be a history of that in the country.
