Colo. Republican Party Creates "Backlash" For GOP

The Denver Post:

The chairman of the Colorado Republican Party says he plans to inform a national GOP group today that it created a "backlash" by registering two domain names for potential U.S. Senate candidate Jane Norton.

Dick Wadhams pointed to a rash of e-mails during the weekend among Colorado Republicans who are upset with the National Republican Senatorial Committee, which they believe is playing favorites in the crowded 2010 primary field.

Other than the fact that there is this "backlash" regarding a pick of a Party favorite, where is the rest of the story? Tell us how many other people are vying for the seat. What are their particular stances and how do the differ from the favorite? Does this movement have anything to do with health care, or any other national issue. All in all, a very pi$$ poor article. All it is showing is that somebody is not happy, but doesn't tell us why,beyond the obvious.
