Summer looked like a lot of fun if you were rolling with the Obama crowd. The president went fishing, played basketball and pitched a baseball. He celebrated his first birthday in office on August 4. He also shared some laughs with Michelle, Sonia Sotomayor, Robert Gibbs and Joe Biden--and squeezed in a trip to Yellowstone State Park with his family.

The fishing photo was great and I really like the shot of Sasha behind the sofa. All the photos are wonderful. VP Biden looked almost seriously concerned he had dropped cupcake crumbs, lol...I love it when those two gentlemen are together..­.yin and yang ;-)

From the looks of that fly line does not seem like he was doing a lot of casting/fi­shing/catc­hing but I completely understand the smile as that is how I feel whenever I am on the water with my fly rod and that is on Pennsylvania waters. Fishing a mid August midge hatch in Montana must be sublime

I like the picture of the President at the Grand Canyon. My only complaint is he should be wearing jeans or something more outdoorsy. The fly fishing photo is awesome also. Trout fishing in Montana has a big influence on a person. I'm glad he had fun.

What I love about this POTUS and what is so noticeably different from the previous occupant of the White House....h­e doesn't POSE for the pictures. The picture of him with the Native American gentleman shows him actually looking at the drum and whatever it is he is showing the POTUS. it's not a staged photo in any way.
The picture of Sasha hiding behind the couch is adorable..­..reminds me of sneaking into my parents bedroom and tickling my dad's feet...:) hee hee.

Give me a break. Who gives a rats ... about the birtsdays in the White House, vacations and wht they wear. I didn't vote for him to look at the pictures.

I want Obama to show some balls instead. Where is the leadership ?
He has already squandered the opportunity to reform the financiaal system and let banks get away with what they did to the country. And now he's well on track squandering the health care reform.

On a style note, I do love that red dress on MO. With the straight skirt, the smaller belt (of the same color as the sheath) defines her curves. It is really stunning on her.
