Olbermann Explores "The Revenge Of Carrie Prejean" (VIDEO)

Carrie Prejean, formerly Miss California, is suing pageant officials for libel, slander and religious discrimination after she was stripped of her crown for missing several scheduled appearances.

In a segment titled "The revenge of Carrie Prejean," Keith Olbermann, who figures prominently in the lawsuit, interviews another person named in the suit, the Village Voice's Michael Musto, over their place at the heart of this tangled situation.

If a Republican is filing suit and/or the suit is being filed by anyone against Obama or Clinton for any reaon, there is NO SUCH THING as a frivolous lawsuit -- they're all legal landmarks. All suits filed AGAINST Republicans are axiomatically frivolous. If no Republican is involved in the lawsuit, then it's frivolous if it adversely affects capitalism or if a celebrity is involved, OR if, generally speaking, the case bores them. Clear things up for ya?

In her case it would probably be more like turning the other breast. And since Christian belief is that Christ rose from the grave in three days and is now seated at the right hand of His Father, I believe He would be more likely saying "Father, forgive her for she knows not what she's doing."

Obermann is usually to the point and funny--Musto was incredibly nasty, and therefore ultimately unfunny about "Barbie". It wasn't ridicule about someone doing stupid things or disagreement about point of view, it crossed over the line into almost misogyny about her transgender operations, lack of a brain etc. And I do think the lawsuit is stupid, of course.

I usually agree totally with Keith, but not this time. I do think this girl got a bad deal. She's a bigot, no question. But that's how she was raised. She's no worse than others, and I don't see why she has to get more abuse than most. Her original comment wasn't that nasty. Perhaps her follow-up remarks were more offensive. But why are we trying to destroy her when she's still young enough to wise up and widen
her horizons. As a gay atheist, I say forgive her and give your a chance to change. Besides, you gotta
admit she's gorgeous — at least outside.

Does the fact that you think she's gorgeous have any affect on your willingness to "forgive" this person? What if her physical appearance did not appeal to your tastes?
