This is utterly vile. Bad enough that a woman (famously) beaten by her boyfriend would agree to pose naked and muzzled, but for a liberal blog to post these images asking enthusiastically for readers so select their favorite?
It doesn't take a rabid feminist to be disgusted by this.
*sigh* post-punk was done 30+ years ago, what's the point? and this girl should never burlesque grace jones! ever. lazy fashion editors: stop dry humping the same cash cow and come up with new ideas!
Somebody at Huffington should actually look at the photos. The stockings go to mid thigh, but the boots go only to below the knee. They are not thigh-high boots.
She's so fine she looks good even in them ridiculous costumes.
I am thinking that Grace Jones did this years ago and was ....um scarier...
Well this isn't saying a lot for her decision making skills correct. I think what happened between her and Chris Brown was horrible but I wasn't there. At some point we need to start taking responsibility for our actions. What kind of behaviour do these images bring about to you?
Why do photog's always want to make black models look like Grace Jones?
Another member of the "lucky genes club" displaying an inability to make good choices. Nothing new, like the photos....
Look; she's magnificent, ok? But the Helmut Newton thing happened 30 years ago, and I find it really passe. I'm sure that Bruce Willis' S&M photoshoot was a hoot to do, but also really silly. I think that especially in these difficult economic times, when real bondage is so prevalent, these kinds of photo shoots are decadent and meaningless. But, if this is the message these folks want to send, then I guess it's fine. As far as Rhianna is concerned, her abusive relationship with Chris Brown, makes her attraction to this type of "art", authentic.
