Best News Blooper Ever? BBC Reporter Has Issues (VIDEO)

While we don't agree with our friends at Buzzfeed that this is the funniest news blooper EVER, we do think it's pretty darn awesome. The BBC's Jonathan Charles seems to have some problems with punctuation--specifically inserting a comma after his name instead of a period. In this case the description that followed his intro was supposed to be of Jaycee Lee Dugard, but made for awkward self-disclosure instead.

WOW...now that is really something to get oneself excited over...the man is an excellent anchor and the pettiness of those who want to make an issue of it need to get a grip...int­ros like this are a dime a dozen in TV news...any of you going on about this have a clue? Didn't think so.

Yeah that's not a blooper, just strange British humour, not even good humor.

My favorite BBC news discussion humor moment was a panel of three discussing Madonna's new Sex book and a woman commented that she thought it was great that Madonna was so open about her sexuality then said "I know my body about as well as I know about the Polish Undergroun­d."

Now THAT was GOOD British humour!!!

It came out as a run-on sentence.

In other words, it comes out sounding as if HE were kept hidden, etc. And yes, I had to watch it twice to get the joke, as well.
