Really? I honestly don't know who she is, what channel she's on, let alone having seen her. I can only assume she's a liberal since everyone here is in love with her. In fact, she sounds like maybe she's the anti-Glenn Beck, but that doesn't make sense since liberals claim to hate biased news shows.

As infuriated as I was by Pat's remarks, I appreciated Rachel's response to them. It seems others viewed this similarly. Pat shouldn't have access to the media anymore. His hateful views are as irrelevent today as they were in 1992 when he literally declared war on Gay people at the Republican Convention. She was being too polite to consider him a "friend".

I was so happy she got this show and she continues to impress me daily with her wit and intelligence. She's a refreshing reminder of the value of "pissing off tthe right-wingers". Delightful.

I am so glad Dr. Maddow is on MSNBC. My personal
favorite wasn't from the "Rachel Maddow Show" but on
"Meet the Press" a few weeks back. She wasn't allowed
as much air time as the male commentators though.

Happy Anniversary Rachel! I have loved you since Air America and when you were a guest on Keith Olbermann. Was delighted when you substituted for Keith and over the moon when you were given your own show. You have never disappointed me. You never scream, you allow your guests to complete their thoughts and actually listen. Your follow-up questions always relate to the topic, are thought provoking and incisive. In other words - a class act. I look forward to many more years of the RMS. Congratulations!

Happy Birthday, RMS!! I wholeheartedly agree with the poster above who said Rachel is not only bright, she's necessary! So very true.

Started out loving it when she'd sub for Keith, and lobbied for her to get her own show. So glad msnbc saw the light as soon as they did. I can think of nobody more deserving. She exudes brilliance and integrity in spades.
