A constitution should be changeable, and there was to be a vote on whether to hold a constitutional convention. Then, at the convention, the members would vote on whether to make changes. It was all going to be done by voting, which is a democratic way of doing things.

The US response has been confusing; so Michiletti may be receiving messages, that aren't in the public domain.

"The military deposed Zelaya after the Supreme Court ordered his removal."

This was not a military overthrow but a legal action under Honduran law. Why does the US not recognize the legitimacy of the Honduran Constitution or the Honduran Supreme Court?

Zelaya should return as suspected criminal to stand trial. Nothing else.
