Joe Wilson Explains His Actions, Asks For Campaign Cash (VIDEO)

Joe Wilson is not letting his notoriety go to waste.

Not to be outdone by his potential opponent for Congress in 2010, Rob Miller, who has raised more than $350,000 since Wilson's now infamous "You Lie" outburst, the congressman has a new video in which he explains his behavior and then goes on to ask for... campaign cash.

"Last night I let my emotions get the best of me on the critical issue of health care," Wilson said in the video. He was sorry for what he did, he explained, but he was also a victim for speaking out against the health care plan and is thus asking people to "Stand with Joe."

"They want to silence anyone who speaks out against it. They made it clear they want to defeat me and pass the plan. I need your help now... Contribute to my effort to defeat the proponents of government-run health care. "

I wonder how many others in the room that night were thinking similar thoughts, but were more successful at keeping their Asperger's and Turrettes' syndromes in check.

I voted for President Obama, and I have a lot of faith in him as a sincere American leader looking to help us get our American values and rights back from the abyss we have currently fallen in to.

The bitterness amongst us all is crushing. And all the while, innocent working class Americans and their children are suffering. Health care (a perpetual thorn in the side of Americans and the elected officials), bankruptcy, foreclosure, financial strain and all of the ugliness it injects into Amrtican households are the norm these days, with bickering amongst the leaders the only thing that is being accomplished. Add to that the conniving banking and investment class, the corporate bailouts, and you have the nightmare of America in 2009, and the foreseeable future.

Joe Wilson is just a small example of the gutter politics and politicans of today, coupled with the greedy, thieving financial "leaders" that are literally flushing our great Nation down the toilet.




Illegal immigration, terrorism, al qaeda, crumbling infrastructure, GM, Lehman Brothers, Chrysler, AIG, Iraq, Iran, North Korea, Mexico, Aids, H1N1, crushing Federal debt, middle class poverty, are but a few of the complex issues vying for the attention of our leaders. Health care for all is but a blip on the list. Good luck to us all.

What would I do if I were an illegal immigrant? (And, of course, couldn't get a National ID Card.) Nothing. Just continue going to the ER for free treatment whenever I really had to.

So because of Joe Wilson's lies, there's now going to be a provision in the bill that everyone will have to prove citizenship every time we use medical insurance. I guess the only thing they can do now is to institute a national ID card. Which Republican is going to propose that amendment? And will it have biological info on it to make it tamper-proof? Finger-prints or iris readouts? Now I wonder if that brave Republican will provide funding for a device in every Dr.'s office so that they can verify that the right person is presenting the card? Wow! Wilson is sure a brave Republican. That card can be used for many, many government control issues, can't it? Happy now?
