Is King Karzai planning to abdicate? Is the chopper warming up as we speak?

At least we can see where our money for Afghanistan is going.

Can we get out of there and let them pay their bills themselves?

yeah. i forgot about that small detail. i just figured there were enough examples of wars and "operations" where attacking the US wasn't necessary (Dominican Republic and Iraq are just a two that readily come to mind). oh but who could forget Guatemala, Chile, Argentina, and Reagan's great conquest: the toppling of the once mighty Grenada! See losing at The Bay Of Pigs wasn't a disaster for the US; Cuba's mistake was winning.

Paid for the the US of A. And we wonder why the Afghan people don't like us anymore?

It's been eight years. Bring the troops home. Preventing another 19 people from causing havoc can't be done militarily.

good for them now they are learning how real captialism works

next they will create a wall street to really stick it to the world

then some lawyers

god bless capitalism

the rich get richer and the poor stay poor and the middle class supports both them

and then the muslim right will yell and scream at town hall meetings that they do not want socialism for medical care while having a gov run health insurance for them

they then can become as dumbed down as we americans

Karzai (and his brother) have a world class opium/heroin business going. He doesn't need US tax dollars to buy one single thing.

Karzai is no different than the corrupt puppets we installed in South Vietnam. Their only goal was to see how much loot they could steal with the United States Military strongarming any competition.
Thanks to the CIA and "Air America" Diem, Ky, and Thieu all profited massively.

http://www.drugtext.org/library/books/McCoy/book/33.htm

How do you get rid of a drug rival today? Call the CIA and tell them a certain village is positively "infested" with Taliban or Al-Q.

History repeats itself. It's good I'll be dead in a few years because I don't think I could stand to watch this all a 3rd, or 4th time.

The United States is also the leading nation in the rebuilding or reconstruction of Afghanistan. It has been providing multi-billion US dollars .

Those properties bought it with our Dollars

Pledges that have been made for reconstruction of Afghanistan total about $39 billion dollars. Of that amount $25 billion has been committed. Of the $25 billion in the past six years, only $16 billion has been actually spent. This is the payment that has been done. And of that, slightly over $5 billion has been spent by the national government. So one third of the resources has been spent in Afghanistan has been spent through the national government. We believe that the effectiveness of aid is much larger when the money is spent by the national government.
