Glock

BusinessWeek:

Behind the Glock phenomenon, however, is another story, one rife with intrigue and allegations of wrongdoing. The company's hidden history raises questions about its taxpayer-financed law-and-order franchise. Is this a company that deserves the patronage of America's police? Does Glock merit the lucrative loyalty of private American gun buyers? The Glock tale also underscores the difficulty U.S. regulators have overseeing complex international businesses.

I'm getting tired of Obama doing nothing. He promised us Wall street reform, Heathcare reform, and more jobs and we got NOTHING except more debt.

the economy is rigged against middle class, anyway

As always, when you give money to conservative businesses, you end up funding crime and terrorism.

What is it with HuffingtonPost's hang up with pictures of 100 dollar bills?

Every day there is some story with 100 bills pictured.

Do 100 dollar bills mesmerize people into clicking on articles?

Whenever I read about my heroes at the IRS reigning in yet another tax evading cheating slimebag, then it is a good day, because government is working for us. Desperately needed money is finally recouped and hopefully spend on communities, schools and wherever else it is so desperately needed.

Guns are for people that don't know how to communicate.

Only exceptions - Police

Why are the police exceptions? If your "Guns are for people that don't know how to communicate" standard is to be applied reasonably, than what makes them any different?

Also I noticed you didn't make any exception for the military. I guess you think we should be fighting wars with swords and spears.

I own a Glock 9mm. It was my NYPD service weapon. You could wear it on or off duty because it's so light and the plastic stock stood up well to the NY winters. I rarely carried it off duty and can't remember the last time I wore it. it's in the safe these days. Easy to break down and clean.

I suspect that Glock has been doing a bang-up business of late, particularly among the regressive members of Congress, and all the Rambo-wannabes attending tea parties and anti-America rallies.

All those gun afficionados in the House and Senate should be able to work something out that benefits Glock and themselves at the expense of the American public.

I used to think the gun-crazy Rethuglicans were nuts. But now that I observe how we have let Wall Street go back to its old ways, which will only end in disaster, I'm not so sure.

My advice: learn to garden and cooperate with your neighbors. If that fails, a Glock, sadly, might not be such a bad idea.

But remember, morons and guns are a bad combination.

I don't own a gun. I'm afraid if I did, I'd do some serious damage to some republican mo000rons.
