Top Ten Joe Wilson Excuses (VIDEO)

David Letterman took on South Carolina Representative Joe Wilson last night in a top ten list explaining his "excuses" for shouting "you lie" during the president's health care speech Wednesday. Joe Wilson had been the butt of Internet humor for a full day by this point, but Dave and Craig didn't let that stop their fun.

Letterman's Top 10 lists are probably the lamest, least funny things on late night TV. It would be better if they had the studio audience make up suggested reasons rather than his tired old writers.

Here are my top 10 reasons Joe Wilson is an angry man on Wednesday night.

10. He caught his 14 year old daughter smoking at the dinner table in front of her kids.
9. Found out the love of his life is out of his league because she bowls on a different night.
8. His 16-year old daughter was unable to attend the junior prom because they didn't offer day care.
7. His wife couldn't attend the President's joint session speech on Health-care reform because a ceiling fan ruined her hairdo.
6. He has been married three time and still has the same darn in-laws.
5. Discovered the Halloween pumpkin on the front porch has more teeth than his current wife.
4. The liberals in Congress are pushing a bill to change the last words of the Star-Spangled Banner from 'Gentlemen, start your engines'.
3. Someone in his family died right after saying, "HEY GUYS, WATCH THIS!"
2. Because of the recession, Motel 6 stopped leaving the light on.

And the number 1 reason Wilson was angry at the joint session speech;

He had just been notified somebody was smoking in the bathroom and blew his house right off it's wheels.
