New Moon

There's a new trailer out to keep fans freaking out in advance of the November release "New Moon," the highly anticipated follow-up to 'Twilight."

In the most-recent trailer fans get a glimpse of a grown-up Dakota Fanning in her role as Jane, a member of the deadly Volturi, complete with crimson eyes.

Meanwhile, vampire heartthrob Edward (played by British heartthrob Robert Pattinson) takes his shirt off.

Jacob (Taylor Lautner) also goes shirtless in the trailer, but that newly-buff body was seen in previously released clips.

And Bella (Kristen Stewart) sinks into a depression, only to become the center of a love triangle.

This movie seems to have way better direction than Twighlight.
It looks like it is going to be awesome!!!

Just started the fourth book. My daughter wanted me to read them and I love it too. Edward is to die for, can't wait to go see it on the 20th.

I kind of want to see this and honestly when I saw that Dakota was in it I thought hmmm I may go see this just to see how she is stepping out! I look to see big things from that young lady. She is very talented.

Oooh. That one looks quite fun, though I'm getting really tired of films that dwell on teenage angst.

I am sick of people reading the ENTERTAINMENT SECTION, and complaining about its celebrity riddled content, and silly Hollywood issues. Again, ENTERTAINMENT SECTION, only one small part of Huffington Post as a whole. Please read other areas of the blog if it bothers you so much, and stop posting on things you find so insignificant . . .

That said, I think the movie looks great, and I am so going to see it!

I tried to get into Twilight, I really did. But I'm 23, not 13, so. . .

I thought the finale for this was last night on HBO - True Blood, right? What's going on?

No, they are too different things. True Blood is the HBO series. Twilight is a series of books. Neither is based on either.

I should add, then the Twilight book series is slowing being made into movies. Like they did with Harry Potter.

Haha. Thanks, byla. I should make my sarcasm clearer, I suppose. I was trying (and as usual, failing?) to be funny. In general, I think the world could use less vampire stories at this point. I do love True Blood, but I just keep wondering, how many vamp tales can the market hold? When is this darn bubble going to burst? No more vampire or zombie movies for five years - at least!!! Thank you.

For old folks it's easier to get if you just think Tom Cruise and Brad Bitt in Interview With A Vampire. Now do you get it?

Dakota Fanning used to be so sweet when she was a little girl. I was such a fan of her in Taken. She reminded me of my niece.

I am enjoying following her career - she is one of the child stars who shines with an incredible natural talent - Kirsten Dunst was the same - though some of Kirsten's film choices were not ones I enjoyed, but hey you can not please anyone.

However I am not someone who enjoys hype much so am avoiding the Twilight movies atm. I was the same with Harry Potter - took me till the fifth book to pick them up and get into them.

Its hard to believe that people reading from this site are also interested in this loaded cr*p. Read Anne Rice, I guarantee you its better.

HP ate my other post in response to this so I'll type it again.

Anne Rice is too sex*u*al for the target audience. I've read the 4 books (don't laugh I'll read anything) and I found them to be more - smouldering looks, whispers confessions of love and the stereotypical falling in love with the bad boy, but he's really not a bad boy. Which incidentally will lead girls the world over to make bad decisions about the guys they choose.

Only in the last book is there anything remotely sex*u*al and it is so tame that is an ant*i*cli*max...hee hee..I made a pun!

Parents wouldn't allow the target audience to read Anne Rice.

Ann Rice - translation for young people: The same vampire crap in an older package, released two decades ago. Old people like it better because....... it's about vampires? It's better written? Um, it's a better story? None of the above. Old people can't really come up with a reason because they haven't seen or read Twilight. They're just blowin' smoke.

Wow, that's funny. I did not enjoy Anne Rice at all, and I did enjoy the Twilight series. Different strokes, I suppose.
