Wilson: I Won't Apologize Again (VIDEO)

Wilson says he called the White House after the speech Wednesday night and apologized. He says the White House accepted the apology and that's good enough for him.

Wilson says he still believe that President Barack Obama was misstating the facts when he said illegal immigrants would not qualify for government health care.

"I am not going to apologize again," Wilson said on "Fox News Sunday." "I apologized to the president on Wednesday night. ... I believe that is sufficient."

He also accused the Democrats of "playing politics." "This is just a way to divert attention... It's a diversion from people looking at the bill and their concerns about the bill."

if this person is not held accountable for his outburst in Congress, others will feel it is ok to call the President a liar when he is addressing the Senate or at some equally important venue. That address was seen the world over and I am embarrased, I am sick and tired of the antics the republicans are pulling. They are teaching their children to disrespect the office of the Presidency by telling their children to stay home because they don't agree with the President's "stay in school" "obey your parents" "do your homework" message. Now here is a federally elected official calling the President of the United States in the Well of the Congress a Liar ! this is an outrage ! I contacted Steny Hoyer my elected official and told him I want him to stand fast and propose some kind of sanction against Rep. Wilson. Republicans carrying guns to townhall meetings, incivility in the Congress; the republicans have slipped to a new lower than low.

Wilson should formally apologize to the people of SC. He has stated that the Government-run healthcare HE enjoys is "world class". Why does he want to deny the same class of healthcare to them? He's a self-serving SOB who is preying on the ignorance of those he claims to represent.

Our elected officials in Congress receive health care mostly paid for by us tax payers, yet many are trying to make it impossible for us to purchase an affordable plan of our own :

While many of us are struggling to afford medical insurance/medical bills.
While Congress people try to stop healthcare reform.
While Congress people accept large contributions from lobbyists to prevent health care reform.

What good is an apology from this guy? You can't believe anything he says anyway. He is a "stuck in the past" bigot who by all documented accounts has exposed himself for the slim he is, going back decades. He is so steeped in prejudice that he couldn't even look FOX Noise in the eye and tell the truth about his motives for being himself last Wednesday evening. Who all America heard shout out during Obama's speech was just who Wilson is, an all bark no bite kind of guy who can't handle the truth of the fact he now has an intelligent, black American man as his Commander in Chief.

Pelosi must insist on an penalty for this guy. If not the decorum and respectabilty of our congress is out the window.
