Chelsea Clinton Spotted Without Engagement Ring

After months of rumors and speculation, it looks like Chelsea Clinton did not marry boyfriend Marc Mezvinsky this summer in Martha's Vineyard. Reliable Sources reports that the 29-year-old former first daughter attended the swearing in of friend and Chief of Protocol Capricia Marshall last Thursday, and her left ring finger was "conspicuously bare."

Marc is the son of former Iowa congressman and convicted felon Edward Mezvinsky and former Pennsylvania congresswoman Marjorie Margolies-Mezvinsky.

Chelsea's mother, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, had denied the wedding rumors, saying if there was an engagement, she didn't know anything about it.

But, Reliable Resources writes, it's likely that a Clinton-Mezvinsky engagement wouldn't exactly get a press release.

Given the curtain of privacy that has always surrounded Chelsea, the idea of a hush-hush engagement and wedding ceremony sounded plausible, especially because the vogue in VIP weddings is to deny, deny, deny until the deed is done -- all the better to keep paparazzi at bay.

There is nothing interesting about Chelsea Clinton. She has never done anything interesting, not ever. Unless you count the time she took her top off in that NYC spin class.

Was it when she went off to excel at Stanford or get her masters at Oxford that she stopped doing anything interesting? Or is it that travel thing that you find so uninteresting. Or that worky international thingy stuff is so growny grownup.
I guess it was when she became a beautiful poised woman - as well as a hot chick - that it just got to be too muchy.

Oh come on, that's not fair at all ... one would have to read, and care, to know and recall anything about any of that (plus her charity work, campaign tours and speeches, work at the consulting and hedge fund firms, and her current studies at the Health Policy and Management at Columbia University's Mailman School of Public Health).
