Is it true, that due to the reaction to Palin's first international speech in Hong Kong, Sarah will soon go on a month long tour of Tibetan yurts to speak about the importance of being able to shoot straight in a helicopter while gunning down wolves?

I'm so happy to be here, in the great democratic country of Hong Kong.
I would like to thank the Honk Kong government for their reception and I understand how it must feel to be so close to China. I can see Russia from my home back in Alaska.

Thank you for supporting the war in Afghanistan. I know how brave the Hong Kong military is.

Continuing the "Are You Kidding Me?" vein about Palin's latest foray into the news cycle:

"HONG KONG — Former US vice-presidential nominee Sarah Palin is expected to speak about US foreign policy and China in her first keynote speech outside North America...
"We have asked her to address US foreign policy, to discuss her views on governance, healthcare, and of course, China," Jonathan Slone, chief executive officer of the Asia-focused brokerage, said in an interview with AFP.
Palin was chosen to speak since she's a possible Republican candidate in the next US presidential election and because of her influential role in politics, he said.
But CLSA, an arm of French bank Credit Agricole, decided to close Palin's session to the media after the former Alaska governor indicated that SHE WOULD HAVE TO ADJUST HER SPEECH IF REPORTERS WERE PRESENT, Slone said...."

Why do I have a feeling the difference between Palin's speech in a closed session vs. one open to the media is Palin P@thological Ly!ng vs. The Truth?

I wonder if Glen Beck will be writing Palin's speech. Isn't this supposed to be a speech about global investments. I am sure there will not be a question and answer period. Couldn't they find maybe Geithner?

This is not about higher office as president.... it is already known Palin is lazy and being governor of a small populated state was too much work for her.

This is not about promoting Alaska or the United States..... this is about striking while the iron is hot and making that easy money before people catch on.

Palin has a shelf life and it expires when people get tired of reading her comments on facebook and twitter.

This supposedly politician refuses to go on Meet The Press or Hard Ball.... how can you refuse to go on these shows if you have something to fight for.... something you believe in...

Of course, the media is being barred. That's because she's being punked. I just can't wait to read the post on 9/24. It's going to be priceless.

Is that the continent of China? She must be desperate for stamps on her vacant passport.

I find it impossible to believe that Sarah Palin, the failed VP nom, the failed Mayor and quitter of Alaska, who is currently unemployed, who can't speak, has been offered a speaking engagement.

Please, all of you in Hong Kong, make this a Palin's Been Punked event. She may never want to make another speaking engagement again. Then maybe this pure white trash specticle could go away for good.

Will Sarah be speaking in tongue or word salad?

She's speaking in Hong Kong, oh my! I didn't know they liked pageant walkin over there. I understand the press part though, in case she needs a stand in, is Tina Fey available?
