Ive never seen that Al Franken one, but its ridiculousness makes it utterly hysterical. The one of GWB with the upside down book reading to school children wasn't on the list though

As a 'former' teacher...
I will remind us that more people than we realise do not read...
or read at a very low level.

The President may do WONDERS for his health care...
morale and country success...

if he approaches America knowing this

and working TO their needs...
while quietly preserving their dignity.

There are many ways to teach things...
speech and printed word together
(close captioning as the norm rather than the choice)...

I, myself, used to turn on my tv and lower the sound...wi­th the captioning turned on...
after a move several years ago, I stopped as the close captioning here is not well done...

it is a good language learning and reinforcing tool, though.
