Amber Rose, Kanye's Girlfriend, Dons Thong In Fashion Spread (PHOTOS)

Long before his "jackass" turn at the VMAs, Kanye West was allowed to style a shoot for the October issue of Elle. The result is a spread featuring his girlfriend, model Amber Rose, in crotch and ass-baring poses and "body conscious" clothing.

Amber tells the magazine she is "not like his Barbie" and cites their clash over what she should wear to the 125th Anniversary Gala of the Met in March as evidence. Kanye wanted her to wear a gown to the formal event; Amber opted for a white cocktail dress with a thigh-high slit.

"I didn't want to wear a long gown," Amber told the magazine. "So then we get to the Met and everybody has a long gown. I was like, great. I didn't know what the Met was!"

West’s previous and latest outbursts have not been disrespectful, distasteful, or untrue. His claims against others’ artists lack of artistic genius and ingenuity do contradict the publicized success rates but are justifiable when considering Billboard’s statistical data. West’s latest outburst at the '09 MTV Music Awards targeting an untalented public stunt generated a great deal of attention because he is a Black Man. The target was not a white girl. The outburst is perceived as an unfair and ignorant act of stupidity because not many Blacks are standing up to challenge, to ridicule, reject, or oppose any form of idiosyncrasy aimed at Blacks or the Black community. However, this brief article will focus on an analogy between West’s pattern of behavior and speech and the secret societies the bafflement, gay boulé, and links to the murders of Tupac Shakur, Biggie Smalls, and the decline of others’.
One must understand that entertainment in any form is an institution of capitalism. Institutions of capitalism operate as industries that develop, package and distribute, and sell a large amount of useless and non-essential items. Second, these industries form the big businesses that keep the invisible, yet oppressive, classicist and inequitable chains of disparities around the wrists, bodies, and minds of Blacks and the poor. Finally, Tupac Shakur was one of the few mainstream artists to publicly deny, reject, and ridicule the Bafflement and Gay Boulé. The media lynched him publicly so that his murder would not incite the Black community to demand facts.

Like her or not, it's called marketing oneself...especially in today's tabloid/entertainment world, and she's obviously done it well. I think she's somewhat sexy and more so because the way she carries herself in a "doesn't care what others think" way. I try not to judge others, besides, not everyone is going to agree on attractiveness. What works for some, doesn't work for others for whatever reasons.

As for being Kanye's "girlfriend." I tend to think 'occassional companion' fits their situation better. Again, the whole marketing angle. She stands out for the way she looks, he gets noticed for it, and so does she. The magazine spead is just further confirmation of that theory, and how it works in those circles in my opinion.
