Bush joining their ranks. They quoted a member who noted the size of the ex-president's Secret Service entourage during a previous visit to the club, and claimed that about half of the members would still welcome him. However, the discussion appears to be moot. A spokesman for the club has since clarified that Bush never applied for membership, but is welcomed to use the club anytime.
