The World's Biggest Burger & 19 Other Record-Breaking Foods (PHOTOS)

This has been a big year for big food records. Since 2009 began we've seen folks set the world records for biggest burger, tamale, meatball, cheesecake, sandwich, and piece of fudge. Here are some of the most fun food feats of all time. If we've left any out, email us!

Meatball

As a promotion for the upcoming film "Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs," Sony Pictures produced the world's largest meatball with the help of Ritz Carlton hotel executive chef Rainer Zingrebe on August 4th, 2009 in Mexico. It weighed 109 pounds. Jimmy Kimmel was not amused: "Mexico can't hold the world record for meatball!" So to celebrate the San Gennaro Festival, Jimmy had his team take 200 pounds of ground meat and win the record back!
