Fox News Producer

A Fox News Channel producer has been caught in a behind-the-scenes video rallying the crowd during last weekend's 9/12 protest in Washington.

The Huffington Post has confirmed that the woman in the below video — seen raising her arms to rally the crowd behind Griff Jenkins, who was reporting from the scene for Fox News — is Fox News producer Heidi Noonan.

"The employee is a young, relatively inexperienced associate producer who realizes she made a mistake and has been disciplined," Bryan Boughton, Fox News Channel Washington Bureau Chief told the Huffington Post.

The video shows the producer on her cell phone as she urges the crowd behind Jenkins to cheer louder. An "I'm A Foxaholic" poster appears nearby.

The 9/12 movement has been championed by Glenn Beck, and is designed to "bring us all back to the place we were on September 12, 2001" when "we were united as Americans, standing together to protect the values and principles of the greatest nation ever created."

Fox News heavily promoted the protest event, and took out an ad in newspapers Friday asking how other news networks could "miss [the] story," only to have competitors hit back with proof that they covered the protest extensively.

Fox explains it by saying "The employee is a young, relatively inexperienced associate producer who realizes she made a mistake and has been disciplined,"

Sure, she was probably given a fat raise and promotion! Anything goes at Fox until you get caught!

No other "news" outlet would ever be a participant in this kind of promotional and self serving activism. Unfortunately not even video as damning as this will convince people that FOX Fantasy News isn't really "fair and balanced". Which begs the question. What will begin to convince people? What will it take?

A more accurate catch-phrase for Fox might be "Skewed and Biased" but they aren't concerned with accuracy are they - no, they're much too busy trying to 'balance' reality's liberal bias.

That story is a just fit for Beck. I love the ending.

Becks just ending & his cronies endings will be coming very soon so they better take all their blood money & run while they can because the people "are" already wise to them.

OMG. I just loved that story.

Thank you very much Disorderly Report for sending it. It did my heart good to hear it & realize the inevitable for the likes of Beck, O'Reilly, Hannity & all the rest of the not so great pretenders.

Thank God for Olbermann, Maddow, Mathews & Shultz, etc.

And this guy, who like this great story was before his time.

Howard Beale saying, "I'm Mad as hell & I'm not going to take it any more.

I guess it's down to the Becks against the Beals.

Like in this movie, I have got to see, it's good to know that we know the end of our story, too, don't we?

there are virtually no progressives commenting on the biggest wingnut sites.and one time i tried to engage in a conversation, they freaked out and attempted to get me tossed off.why are conservatives so obsessed with what progressives are talking about?

they love to portray the left as whining,as weak,as sissies etc...yet theyve spent decades-and its getting worse every day-boo hoo-ing about the big bad "liberal media".'

about how pres. bush got such a bad rap from the media.even though he left office w/ a 22 pct approval rating, the media was simply out to get him.and when sarah palin made a fool of herself in the two(2 !) interviews not done by fox or someone on AM hate radio, they stomped their feet and cried about how that big bully katie couric was so unfair.

and i would love to hear one of the poor, victimized rightwingers on this site to answer this question:

why is it that,at every single rightwing rally there are countless people with signs explaining how totally awesome foxnews is.yet, ive never in my life seen a single sign at a antiwar rally(or any liber-type gathering) proclaiming a love for nbc news or the ny times,or anyone else in the "liberal media".
i mean, the msm got obama elected right?theyre all in the tank,so how come progressives arent in love the way foxnews-y'know,the "fair and balanced" network"-viewers are?

They are opinionated and lack credibility. The journalists are hacks and shills and should be dubbed entertainers.

You know an interesting phenomenon has occured to my spouse and my self, we were staying at a hotel, a national chain that we won't name but the so called news channel was on during breakfast, and it was Fox news, we asked if we could change the channel, and were told that it was stationary, incapable of being changed.
Interesting, I wonder if part of their so called ratings is based on a deal between Murdoch and these hotel chains. I know this is pure conjecture on my part, but if ratings is based on viewership than its a simple matter to "fix the Tv's" in hotel dining rooms and lobbies to Faux noise.
After all no one with any common sense accepts Faux spiel as being anything less than pure fiction,.

tjeffersonlover...youve chosen possibly the worst hypocrite in our countries history sally hemmings?)as your hero,so i suppose its not suprising that you can actually describe fnc as "fair".

their "straight news" anchor(before this year) was brit hume.he was actually the honored guest of "the media research center"(brent bozell).and he admitted to using info they provided him as a large part of his show.is this fair?

the fox "friends" in the morning.i want you to tell me that they are "fair".

also...ive never seen a single person at a leftwing rally holding a sign proclaiming their love for "nbc news" or the msm.

if fnc would simply advertise as a conservative network, nobody would care.but ive nevermet a conservative who actually watches fnc because theyre so fair.they watch because they hate the msm.and i have no problem admitting that most of the msm has some sort of leftwing bias.its nowhere near to the extent that the wingnuts believe.and finally...

the right have been whining and endlessly boohoo-ing about how unfair theyre treated by the msm for years.and youre calling someone else "crybabies"?seriously?

you all are so dillusional that you have no problem blaming bush's coverage on an "unfair media" even though he had a 22 pct approval rating.historically low.oh wait,i suppose thats because of the big bad msm picking on you poor conservatives, right?

all of the cable companies are owned by republicans (clear channel, sinclair, etc). they moved msnbc to a tier with the bbc, fine living, etc.; therefore, you must buy at least TWO upgrades from the basic package to even GET MSNBC. fox is on the basic package. do you understand now why they have such larger numbers??

Fox is the only network that caters to the 18%ers better known as Fasciists/rascists.

Hence the ratings.

I learned two things.

One, Fox has some employees that disguise what they really do less well than other networks.

Two, editors at the HuffPost think that people have some degree of faith in televised news productions.

Newsreaders are incompetent or biased?! Horrors! What will we do? Bring in the government to tell me what to believe, please!

Young and inexperienced? Like the Liberty university stiffs that Bush and ilk populated the justice department with? Does the FCC have any standards?... Oops looking at the SEC I guess not. It would be nice if these Bob Jonesers and Liberty U. clods learned to spell and put Iraq in the proper place on a map as well. But that would take Roger Ailes and Rupy Murdoch finding someone with an education, a producer perhaps with qualification other than cheerleader 101.

Take action America!

Fox & their kind have abandoned our nation.

They've been engaging in outright political activism.

They're officially the leaders of "The Resistance Party"

Start grassroots campaigns. Make fliers. Use your imagination, just do something.

Dangerous individuals who help incite with lies should have to back those lies to a tee.

Not a tea party!

When they can't back the lies & deception they should be jailed & fined.

There should be a line between free & hate speech & that line's been crossed. We need a bill that identifies free speech from down right hate & racist activity.

It's time the "Resistance Party" is stopped.

Some of these mixed up people are innocent & not of ill or racist motive but Ignorance (of the law) is no excuse (for breaking it).

The good news is decent people recognize truth when they hear it so many will wake up.

Take action now;

http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact/

http://mediamatters.org/action/fightfox/

fcc.gov@fcc.gov

Encourage elected officials & everyone you know to take action, too, & tell them to do it now.

Join this forum & stand by for Obama's people to take it back from teabaggers & birthers who've temporarily taken it over, just as they're trying to do to our nation.

Hello? Ever heard of the first amendment?

It protects even those with whom we disagree. If this could actually happen, don't you think the KKK would have been imprisoned/eliminated a long time ago? But in fact, we have a fundamental right to free speech and assembly. Works both ways.

Who's to say that had this not been in place during the previous administration, they might not determine some of the war protesters hadn't crossed a line? Jailing and fining over speech is called a dictatorship.

The line is when the speech moves into criminal action. Sorry if you don't like what they have to say. If they want to call Obama a Nazi - hey, it's a free country. Can't put 'em in jail. Tune it out, or show up with your own vulgar sign in opposition, or start your own 'news' network.

Your point is well taken & I understand but in this day & age we need new rules.

When these liars who dwell in deception work against a sitting president that was voted in & more than half the country is behind him, they should be dealt with accordingly.

When it comes to the recovery of our nation opposed to the danger these domestic terrorists cause, then their guilt of crimes against our nation should be settled in court by the people & for the people.

As for the war protesters, the crimes of the administration could have easily been proven in a court of real law & that it was an illegal occupation, therefore the protesters would have been safe because they weren't liars like these pretend to be patriots are.

They are definitely a danger to our nations well being & must be stopped now!

We Need New Rules!
