Causecast works with over 50 of our nation's most active and innovative nonprofits, and we thought it was about time that we started highlighting some of the great work their volunteers are doing.
Throughout the month of August, we're putting the spotlight on some of our organizations' most enthusiastic volunteers, continuing today with KTLA reporter and LA's BEST Friends Board Chair Michaela Pereira.
LA's BEST works to provide safe and supervised after-school education for elementary school children in Los Angeles. We had the privilege of getting to speak with Michaela in August 2009 outside KTLA studios in Hollywood.
