With "Saturday Night Live" returning to air this weekend, we're counting down some of their funniest sketches of all time. In the past few years, many of those have been digital shorts produced by the Lonely Island. Here are the 13 best (in our humble opinion), tell us which are your favorites!

I second some of the "old school" pre-Samberg bits (especially the above-mentioned "Men's Synchronized Swimming"), but the music video Samberg and Tom Hanks did for a song called "Please Don't Squash My Testicles" deserved to make the list. I almost like it more than Dick In a Box.

Wow, Mahmoud is reading an anthology of Emilie Dickinson's poetry and I have that same book. Somehow that fact makes this video so much funnier.

So awesome that this is up! I just put up a two-part article on the SNL shorts, and I could have honestly gone on forever if I'd included all the best ones. Taped sketches give the artists all the freedom in the world, and the results are (mostly) just great.

I can't pick a favorite. They pretty much all rock my world.

Nobody's funnier than Andy Samberg. He deserves to do real music videos now because he's done so well with the comedy music videos. He needs to give it a try with some super hot girls in his videos.

Of course everyone will laugh like they did at Eddie Murphy because he's a comedian. But if he sticks to it, he can be taken half-seriously like Jamie Foxx, who demonstrated that a comedian can make the transition to becoming a musician.

Isn't the whole idea of Saturday Night Live that it is LIVE comedy?

If they want to create a show of relatively mediocre taped skits, they should start another show.

The only reason these shorts are held in the positive regard that they is because so little is expected of the SNL these days.
