If you use Soy Lard to cook with, in about a year your cholesterol will come right into line.
It is my understanding that Soy Lard actually extracts cholesterol out of fried foods.
I'm 61 yrs. old, 6'2" 210# with a number of 137 total with trigs and LDL and HDL right in line.
Of course my numbern was never over 185 to begin with. Exercise keeps an old man in pretty good shape. It'll keep all you young people in shape too. Run a mile a day to keep the Dr. away !

I was eating a lot of nuts, thinking that they would provide good energy for me when I was exercising many hours a day this past summer. However, I was putting on a bit of fat just below the waist on my back. Nuts do have some carbohydrate content and are high in calorie, so I have dropped them from my diet and I'm seeing the extra subcutaneous fat diminish. Those of us who are insulin-resistant really do best with very little in the way of carbs beyond some green, leafy veggies.

Good reminder. I find that just tossing in about teaspoon in yogurt, salads, oatmeal, etc., a couple times a day is an easy way to fit them in without thinking about it too much.
