With the changing of the seasons, it's time again to flock to the mountains for a glimpse of Colorado's famed fall foliage.

But the vibrant hues of red, orange and yellow will soon be gone as the temperature continues to drop. According to Colorado.com late September is the best time to see the leaves turning, but the color only lasts about a week in some places.
