"As for the Obama economic stimulus package passed last February, DeLay feels "all that money has been wasted.""

Only problem with that comment? OK, not the ONLY problem, but one of the big ones, is that part of the stimulus plan allowed people to get their COBRA insurance premiums underwritten by 65% for the first nine months of the plan. No waste there, millions of us who lost our jobs are extremely grateful for that. That means $350 a month instead of $1000 a month to keep the family's health insurance, even for just the nine months. That's a big deal, and surely not a waste.

But then again, what does Tom DeLay know anyway?
