Protesters Descend On UN (PHOTOS)

Huffington Post   First Posted: 11/23/09 05:12 AM ET   Updated: 05/25/11 03:10 PM ET

It seems as if anyone who has ever had a grievance with a world leader is descending on the United Nations this week to make his or her voice heard loud and clear -- and preferably, the loudest and clearest.

Check out these photographs of the protests and vote on the most inspiring ones. We will update the slideshow as the day progresses.

And send HuffPost your photos of protesters at the UN and G-20 Summit. We will publish the best ones

There was never a condemnation of the mass murder on Pan Am 103. But then again when the only country that is condemned as a matter of policy is Israel, I guess that would be expected. I really admire the demonstrators against Iran, I just wish there had been another 50,000 people.

because the inconvinient truth s long overdue and there is a lot of it.

I particularly agree with him when he said the UN is no United nation when only 5 countries have a say. Would you disagree with that?

He talked for almost 2 hours - what a rambling mess! I felt SO SORRY for the translator who kept up for all but the last 5 minutes when some woman took over.

It wasnt how long a speech is,but what is in the speech. Which part of the speech didnt you agree with or you thought wasnt true?
Some one has to tell the simple truth as we know it not as the murdochs and other media moguls want it to be.
