Okay, This might just be the cutest video HuffPost Green has ever seen. Surya the orangutan falls in love with Rosco the hound dog, and then they roll around in the grass together and share cookies. Too cute.

good lord.........elephants belong in the wild, they are not meant to be transportation for children who want to pound on them, they are not pets, the are animals who need miles and miles to roam.....is it so lost in our society that animals deserve their own naturals environments and were not made for human entertainment!??!!? Some countries get it, it will take corporate American longer, I guess.

I watched this show, Unlikely Animal Friends, last night. They are repeating it Monday 9/28 at 11AM on National Geographic Channel. Worth recording. It was great. Other animal friends featured too including Christian the Lion, a kitten and crow, elephant and dog, a hippo and tortoise and a lioness who adopts a baby Oryx.
