'Houswife' Rift: Bethenny Frankel Alienated From Other New York Ladies

Frenemies Bethenny Frankel and Kelly Bensimon may have made peace over the summer, but the cat-fighting on this season's "Real Housewives of New York" has only just begun. On the show, which is slated to premiere in early 2010, the Skinnygirl creator will be feuding with all of her co-stars aside from - ironically - Bensimon. This time around, Bethenny's biggest enemy appears to be her former BFF, Jill Zarin.

The rift between the ex-besties was evident late last week during a dinner Zarin hosted for 40 friends at Saks Fifth Avenue; Frankel was the only "Housewife" who hadn't been invited.

This is one of the crassest bunch of females on TV. They all come from frank and beans beginnings. It's a constant battle of the shrews. And the real joke is on those who watch this tasteless and poorly scripted malarkey and think it's at all real. I like Betheny, I think she's the most real of the group, but I do agree with other posters that the "skinny girl" needs to gain just a little weight; it makes her face look a bit older and her breasts, well you know what I'm talking about.

I watched RHNYC last season. Kelly was a new player. Viewers voted that they wanted Kelly OFF the show and the show decided to keep her.

I can't stand Kelly. I love Bethanny though.

Not going to watch this season if they have Kelly on.

LOL. Was that when they had Delia chumming around with an ape at the zoo....that is when they lost me. I used to really like Ryan's Hope and Another World because they had so many good NY stage actors. Started watching AW after I got the flu days after my first son was born and was flat on my back except when tending him. It appeared on the screen with first bad Rachael character lamenting a toaster she received at a bridal shower and screaming because she DIDN'T want to stop living with her inlaws. It was like science fiction.l
