My it seems all those Holier than thou States are the worst, I guess it's the "do as I say" syndrome!
Interesting that the states that are the most opposed to health care reform have the greatest concentration of health related issues. South Carolina's stats are the highest in the land for a number of bad outcome, high frequency health issues.
Compare, for example, 'lust'; to the map below:

This is a map of African-American population density by county. In contrast, ''white trash'' tend to live in the southern uplands - where they are apparently on the road to sainthood.
the bible belt has the most problems... and the wars of south texas are from drugs and no care for brown people, also Louisiana seems to allow women to be assaulted by hard men!
I would say where ever the gop is in power, the SINS ARE THE WORST! I blame the attitude of apathy of these conservative rightwing thugs
I wonder what happened to the other two states?

Look at the south light up for "wrath" :)
Why doesn't Florida have any lust with all the pedophiles living here?
This article is humorous and possibly has a hidden massage in that the legal system is not implemented the same in each state and this information if used differently could identify some deltas. This data represents crime statistics which do not necessarily represent the commission of real crimes. Most folks don't realize that a very large percentage of crimes come through the plea bargain process where a person gives up attempting to defend themselves and "accepts" the plea bargain because they cannot afford representation. In certain states, such as Florida, the public defenders are incapable of defending their clients. If you use only raw conviction data, you will miss the flawed system that leads to this end. No one tracks the percentage of plea bargained crimes, but it’s very high. Bottom line is you can't simply accept crime statistics forced on us by the government.
Turns out that "Sin City" isn't very sinful at all.
What's with the high concentration of STDs in western South Dakota? Very odd.
Ahhhh! The Sturgis biker rally. That's gotta be it.
Having a high income = greed?
Spending money on arts, entertainment and recreation = sloth?
What a stupid map.

This gives new meaning to "red" states.
