'Mechanical Tumor': Japanese Artist Adds Pulsating 'Brain' To PC (VIDEO)

Posted: Updated:

Japanese artist Mio Lizawa has created the creepiest gadget yet: a pulsating, mechanical 'tumor' attached to his PC that grows the harder the computer has to work.

The 'lifeform' is built out of a air compressor and an actuator motor inside of it, and is hooked to a PC. The grayish-pinkish blob communicates with the PC so that the 'tumor' expands and shrinks in response to increases and decreases in the computer's processing demand.
