Is the MSM so Amero-centric that this process of unionizing Europe has gone so far as to have but one more country (Ireland) needed to sign on to the program and the first many of us here hear of it is after a potential President is earmarked to take the reigns? Is this part of some grand scheme that was hatched during, prior to or as a result of Europe's participation in the "Coalition of the Willing"? It appears to be a rather big deal with ramifications for the whole global village. Why were Americans kept in the dark until nearly the last minute on this? How can anything benign and above board be played out so discreetly in a country like America where we are supposedly the roost of the most free and far reaching press in the world? his was kept on the DL for a reason people.What that reason is, I don't know. But anything played this close to the vest is rarely a good thing, Will we be left out in the dark until the last minute before there's a President choosen for the Americas? I'm all for Europe having a President. God knows it would be good for the US to have another powerful union to help keep us in line. But Tony Blair? Come on, guys, you can do better than that!

The European Union won't do a d@mn thing to keep the U.S. in check. A huge chunk of our military is permanently stationed there to defend them. For some reason they can't defend themselves. The European Union was created for one purpose only. That is so that international banks could consolidate their power by having one currency. Now all the countries that use the Euro have no say about what they want to do with their own economies. They are at the mercy of the European central bank. The banker's meddling with paper for their own profit and power is the biggest scam in history going back to the Rothschilds. They are responsible for most poverty in the world and most wars. If it were up to me I would have zero mercy for these banking elitists who cast all middle class and poor people in the world into modern slavery.

While I'm not surprised to learn that that was the reason it was created, I can not imagine any union that large and wealthy will be willing to sit back and not try to influence the activities of the US. All of the others do. And Europe has the advantage of being considered our allies. This union may have some severe drawbacks, but if the Europeans want to make something good of it, they can. To tell the truth, I expect them to have better luck at it than we have.

Irish bookies have already started paying out on 'Yes' bets. Ironically, although he is a war criminal Blair did a lot good improving relations between the UK and Ireland, most notably through his leadership role in the Northern Ireland peace process. Even though he didn't initate it he (and others) worked tirelessly to get agreement between the parties. He should be made answer for Iraq but he also deserves credit in helping bring about peace in NI after 800 years of bloodshed.
