"Time Inc. is not for sale," Bewkes told his interviewer, journalist Jeffrey Goldberg. "People made these rumors because they want a lot of activity."...

Goldberg followed up by asking if Time Warner will still be in the magazine business in five years.

"Yeah, and I think the magazine business has plenty of expansion in it," Bewkes replied.

Time Warner cable sux !!!!!!!!!!!

They have messed up my phone service for the entire 7 months I've had it and absolutely everyone passes the buck. They don't even mail out itemized bills. I detest them.
Believe it or not they are worse than AT &T.

How about some title changes such as SI to Sports Eviscerated, Time to No time but a quick read site, People to Who's Screwing Who. Time Warner is stuck with Time-Life. Every 8 months Time Warner will try to revive Life by using yet another way of delivering Life but the same, ancient, failed format as a b & w, picture magazine in a 16 x 28 inch format. Life will be restarted as a weekly, introduce color photos, switch to monthly, cut Life's ad rates before Life again folds in 5 months.
Time Warner's Time Life division needs to try Jet's format at least once for a revived Life. That could last 11 months before Time Warner has to fold it.
