Wolffe Countdown

Richard Wolffe returned to MSNBC's "Countdown" Thursday after a month-long absence.

Wolffe had generated some controversy over his appearances and guest-hosting stints on MSNBC and a perceived conflict of interest owing to his work with Washington public affairs for Public Strategies Inc.

Last month, Keith Olbermann said Wolffe would "not be appearing with us" until MSNBC could clarify his relationship with Public Strategies, and the network admitted error in failing to disclose Wolffe's ties to the firm.

Thursday night, Olbermann welcomed Wolffe for a discussion of Sarah Palin's book and her co-author Lynn Vincent, introducing him as "MSNBC political analyst Richard Wolffe, also senior strategist at Public Strategies, author of "Renegade: The Making of a President."

LOVE YOU, Richard Wolffe! Now if some people would only take the time to read "Renegade: The Making of a President" - they would see what a brilliant man you are. Excellent reading!

Richard Wolffe adds to the journalistic views on MSNBC as do the jounalists from The Washington Post....Thank you MSNBC for keeping us informed!

"Good evenning, Keith"..............................

Not sure I understand how this would be perceived as any more of a "conflict of interest" as Andrea Mitchell and her marriage to Alan Greenspan (particualrly when he was still Fed Chairman) but...........

Welcome back, Mr. Wolffe; ALWAYS adds to the discussion in a civil way.

Will "Going Rogue " be in the comedy section, or heaped on the remainder table? Only time will tell...

Believe you me I just loooove Keith. he makes me laugh every night with his delivery on things. But sometimes, just sometimes, like in Richard's case, he is too hurry to be sooo politically correct.

I think Wolffe should be permanently absent from Countdown

Yes, just as you think Senator Ensign should be permanently present in the Senate.

His father is in the hospital and possibly close to the end of his life, hence Keith's recent absences.

Thanks for the heads-up. This is very sad ~ first his Mom during the first week of April and now his father.

I'm very happy to see Richard Wolfe back. As another wrote above - he is very insightful.
