Madonna & Lady Gaga's SNL Catfight (VIDEO)

Madonna and Lady Gaga faced off on Saturday Night Live this week. Gaga was the musical guest, the show host was Ryan Reynolds.

Halfway through the "Deep House Dish" sketch, about a fake music talk show, Gaga and special guest Madonna came out to perform together, looking shockingly identical from behind.

The hair pulling, name-calling results are below.

Usually love SNL, but this skit sucked pretty badly. Also Gaga and Madonna are disgusting­ly skinny. Gross.

Boring. I couldn't figure out who was playing Madonna. She just looked like some pretty woman. I s her acting really that bad that she doesn't even seem like a plausible impersonat­ion of herself.

apparently that actually was lady gaga and madonna. gaga was the musical guest and madonna was in town promoting something.­..looks like she totally choked on her lines.

Despite being 51 years old, I personally like Lady GaGa and no longer feel the need to pick on someone my own age, like Madonna. Although I am a regular viewer of Saturday Night Live, which I even watched through the extremely bad years (anyone remember Denny Dillon and Ann Risley), the problem I had with this sketch is that there was a much better sketch that could have been done with these two singers. This sketch paled before the "Wayne's World" "Justify My Love" video, which had the advantage of at least being funny.

I'm 51 too. I've been alternatel­y intrigued and put off by Madonna over the years. In the end, she's (sadly) never been able to rise above her trailer park sensibilit­ies. Lady Gaga on the other hand is the first pop performer to snag my attention in years. Her SNL performanc­es were amazing.

OMG that was pretty good! I mean, they're not actresses (Madonna's proved this more than once) but the concept made it cute. I coulnd't believe it was really them but yes, it was.

SNL isn't a funny show anymore all the way through, but it does have its moments.
