Wow. Wow. A young mother was in a car accident & all many posters, including a HuffPost Blogger, can do is comment on her age and appearance? How shallow are you people?
I'm glad she is okay. With everything she has surpassed in this life and just recently giving birth, it would have been a shame had this situation ended much worse than it did. I don't care what age she is, or how old she looks in pictures. She is a brand new mother for a second time with a toddler running around. She can look however old she chooses.

. . . the paparazzi are simply crazed--although not without compensation, as evidenced of the magazines at the checkout counter. Hope she's okay & happy to hear the kiddos were not with her when it happened. :o)

I sincerely hope that Nicole is okay, and I'm glad she's not seriously injured. Good for her to seek medical attention, and I hope she sues the pants off the paparazzi.

Whenever you're rear-ended, it's always the fault of the person driving the car who hits you from behind - no matter the circumstances. And I can state from experience, you may not feel anything that day, but the next morning you might feel like a truck hit you.

Best wishes to Nicole for a speedy - and profitable! - recovery. Teach the paps a le$$on they won't soon forget!

Why is she in the entertainment section? Who exactly does she entertain? What does she do that is entertaining? She's the adopted daughter of Lionel Ritchie and a forrmer Paris Hilton flunkie. Plus, she looks like an old woman.

Glad she's okay and that her kids weren't in the care, but why this woman is a celebrity is beyond me.

Yup you just have to be the offspring of a famous person even tho adopted to get the paparazzi, you don't even have to have talent. Perhaps if she stopped dyeing her hair, stopped with the eye makeup and weighed 300 lbs they might go away.

Going to seek medical attention on her own means, "hold on, let me call my lawyer and then have my special doctor diagnose my 'serious' injuries so that I can sue the pants off the paparazzi."
Celebs know the best way to stick it to paparazzi and their agencies is to be quick on the trigger when it comes to lawsuits, this will probably wind up in a nice settlement for her.

lol. richie has enough of her own money. she probably will sue just to punish them, but it will be covered by their car insurance. it was an ACCIDENT afterall. also, many of these paprazzi are independent contractors, so they don't "work" for anyone.

and you forgot to mention that these celebs like the paparrazi, often calling them to let them know where they'll be. they only pretend to be annoyed.
