Bette Midler Sexualizes Mayor Bloomberg's Letterman Comments

Mayor Bloomberg and Bette Midler were in St. Albans, Queens yesterday to plant tree number 250,000 in their effort to get a million new trees in the city over the next decade.

One reporter took the opportunity to ask Bloomberg his thoughts on the whole Letterman scandal. While the mayor tried his best to dodge the question, Midler can be seen laughing in the background, turning Bloomberg's artful evasion into a cheeky double-entendre.

She probably wanted to smack the reporter on the head for such a ridiculous question. Here Bette and her organization are continuing their efforts (as they have for 14 years with NYRP) and instead of focusing on the milestone of 250,000 trees being planted, they want to know what the Mayor thinks of Dave.

I've just come across an article about 'NOW', the National Organization for Women who are going after Dave.

I just find it amazing that the only 2 times I heard from these_bitches this year have both been towards Dave. Sounds more of a jealousy in that he's never paid attention to them. Guess they see it as they're only way to get in the media. Sad. They used to stand for something -- not it's_vindictiveness.

Can't wait to hear when they'll be in my city doing something. Watch out ladies -- BTW -- I'm female and look at a group like this as being lonely, jealous, unsatisfied_sexually lacking_bitches. They lost supporters last round and will again this one. Only this time peeps will speak louder taking them down.

Bette did what she does, ie be a comic.

Otherwise, as far as the Icons of NY in 2009 are shaping up, Sullenberger > Letterman > Bloomberg? or Sullenberger > Bloomberg > Letterman? Either way Sully wins the length of the course.
