Penelope Cruz Shows Off New Ring, Wears Layers (PHOTOS)

Penelope Cruz wore a big sapphire and diamond rock on her ring finger to the New York Film Festival premiere of 'Broken Embraces.' Was it an engagement ring? She wouldn't say. A source told the Daily News last week that she is engaged to Javier Bardem.

Cruz also did nothing to confirm or deny the longstanding rumors she is carrying Bardem's child. Sensible fall layering or pregnancy disguise?

She wore that ring or a very similar one on her right middle finger in Elegy. You can see it in the very first scene w/her, when she's in the classroom, as well as in many other parts of the movie. They look exactly the same.
