George Clooney brought his television hostess girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis to the London premiere of "The Fantastic Mr. Fox" Wednesday night.
Clooney has been dating the Italian beauty, 31, for the better part of the year. He was spotted around Lake Como with her this summer and brought her to multiple premieres at the Venice Film Festival.

I have to laugh, it took a nice Italian girl to tame him. You have to understand the power of italian women. We know how to treat our men, we are independant as hell, know how to attract without being hoochie mamas, are classy, intelligent beings. George got tired of the same American women, he wanted someone with class, charm, and he found her. Bravo. I wish them well.
I'm sorry, but she looks like all the other beautiful women he tells she is the "one." Give it time, she'll be gone and another in her place - it's a revolving door...and he's like a kid in a candy shop.

George is a p-hound who comes across like he craves novelty sex. I would be highly surprised if he settled down. Correct me if I am wrong, most Italian women like to procreate too (that whole Catholic thing weighs in pretty heavily) and he has openly admitted he has no interest in being a father.
For now, he is just giddy and glowing from all her fine lady parts. The elixir will wear off soon enough. He epitomizes the phrase, ""I'll show you a beautiful woman and I will also show you the man who is tired of *ucking her."

She fits in his usual lot: she's young, beautiful, a showgirl or sth like that, has no degree
whatsoever. Ok, culture is not everything, I shouldn't be so prejudicial. However, you just have to hear her talk to know that, let alone culture, she has a rather low IQ. Whenever she opens her mouth you end up wondering whether Italian is her mother tongue. And it is.
I wonder how the two of them can communicate when he doesn't speak Italian (only a couple of badly pronounced words) and she doesn't speak English any better than he speaks Italian. The power and mystery of love!
What leaves Italians (and me, too) speechless is why, since she has become Clooney's girlfriend, NOBODY seems to remember or mentions that in Italy she's a notorious gold digger, a veteran in the field, and has a reputation as as very cheap, tacky woman. She's had an innumerable string of flings and, despite her beauty, she was almost always dumped. When she did the dumping the "dumpees" declared that she had realized that she had wasted her time with someone who couldn't be or wouldn't be of any use to her "career".
The two of them are well matched: she has finally found what she was looking for (the "oldie" who's going to make her rich and famous with no effort) and he has found his ideal woman - young, beautiful and ambitious.
Don't think he really cares if she loves him or his money.

If you wonder how they "got together" without language skills, go to Italy for one day. Every single person on the street asks me for "coffee" without speaking any other English and I speak no Italian, and believe me, I'm no where near as hot as Clooney.
HuffPost ain't publishing my comments about how some US sites aren't getting the same pictures or info on Elisabetta Canalis as European sites, especially the Ital ones.
That's why Europeans have a totally different take on her. European commentators aren't being shallow or easily fooled by any of her claims to looks or one angle of a dress. They're commenting on her character and her track record as a velina and with guys.
They're even commenting about how she left trash in an airport lounge which is a sign of bad manners and lack of class.
How do you know all this? You must be very focused on these two. But let's face it, none of these movie star guys are going to marry someone just because they are a great person. The face and body come first.

If so, what did he autograph (and was he as generous as he's rumored to be?), if not, why do you think they didn't approach him: did he look distant, formidable even? Where did they go afterwards? I have to know these things, you see, because I have absolutely no life of my own and I worship celebrities and live their lives vicariously because my own life is so empty that I've been fooled to waste my time and money sitting in dark theaters watching their likenesses flit on the screen and let them inspire me and distract me from my own miserable life. Just curious.
