A new study has found that 36 percent of people under 35 admit to checking Facebook, texting, or Tweeting right after sex.

The survey found that guys are twice as likely as women to use social media after sex, and that iPhone users are three times more likely to check Twitter or Facebook after "doing the deed" than Blackberry users.

If sharing-after-loving is your thing, check out IJustMadeLove.com, a site that lets users post when, where, and how they just had sex (read more on HuffPost here).

See the graph below for more findings from the Retrevo study, which asked users "Do you Tweet/text/check-Facebook often?"

Have you ever Tweeted right after sex? Sent a SexMS after doing the deed? If so, what'd you say? Tell us!

Just How Long after Sex are we talking about? Also, How Long have the people been together?
I read the article, and its said nothing of these qualifiers.

If the survey showed they checked after sex- before going to sleep at night, of course they checked the phone and sms because most people that I know that have an iPhone use the phone also as an alarm clock. You have to check that before bed, so obviously, while the other is preparing for bed, one would check their phone. Once you are on your phone, its not that difficult to click on your messages etc. Big Deal. Especially if the couple has been together a long time.

However, if the person is grabbing their phone before taking a breath or relaxing for a minute, then that I think would be disrespectful. The way the findings were presented though, how can one extrapolate and assume they mean - seconds after sex. I think there should be a few moments before the texting resumes.

I have left, and the guy texted me something sweet right after...according to this study, wouldn't that count too? I think before we read too much into this, we need to define the terms a little better.

Kids got it easy. Back it the day I would have to take out ads in the print media to make this kind of announcement.

Of course they do. Mommy, Daddy, and school told them they were special, that everyone cared what they thought and what they were feeling at all times. That's what happens when you remove tact and boundaries from parenting.

"OMG, I just did what most people do! And I think nothing of it! Here's the info on my personal life, but don't look at me doing it or even commenting on it because that's only MY business and not yours!"

In short, that's how these twits think... Well, what else does one who use Twitter be called? Star Trek fans are called "trekkies", for example... so why can't Twitter fans be called "twits"?

98% of the tweets are "OMG! I just got laid".

Ha! They probably couldn't believe that some sane human being actually agreed to bump uglies with 'em. Hence, the need to announce that the Mission was Accomplished.

At least all those anti-smoking campaigns are having success somewhere.

Some of us still believe that there are things that should remain private.
And NO you aren't going to make me tell you anything:)

Stupid and more stupid.

People under 35 don't necessarily have sex right before going to sleep either... so what else are they going to do if they are big tweeters?

And, the survey made 35 the dividing line. For one thing, in most instances people under 35 have more sex than those over 35 so that can alter the "data".

Like I said...pointless survey.

Pointless survey.

Note it didn't say that they were goign on the sites to talk about their experience just that they are checking them. That can be as little as a simple glance at updates to as much as "Hey I just made her head hit the wall 30 times while she climaxed".
