Meghan McCain Twitpic: Blogger Threatens To Quit Twitter Over Tank Top Pic, 'Breasts' Drama (SEE PHOTO HERE)

A Twitpic Meghan McCain posted of herself on Twitter has sparked drama on the web, prompting the blogger to threaten to delete her Twitter account and denounce the site as a "vessel for harassment."

The Twitpic, which has gotten over 122,000 views at most recent count, shows John McCain's daughter in a low-cut black tank top holding a biography of Andy Warhol (see photo below).

Just before posting the photo, McCain (@McCainBlogette) Tweeted,

my "spontaneous" night in is my Andy Warhol biography and takeout....I'm getting old

The photo sparked a flurry of commentary on Twitter, which Meghan McCain responded to with threats to "pull a Miley" and quit Twitter altogether.

Shortly after putting up the photo of herself in a tank top, McCain tried to explain the post via Twitter, saying:

I am going to take some more time to think about it but seriously I was just trying to be funny with the book and that I'm a dork staying in

Twitterers have rushed to McCain's defense, telling her to ignore the hype and criticism.

I think the point a lot of folks are missing that Meghan is a high profile young lady with a famous last name. if she was just some chick in GA, no one would care.

Meghan is hot, politically active and has brains---posting a pic like that was bound to get attention--both positive and negative.

When I posted sexy promo shots for my music, I knew there who would be some who would say negative things. I also knew that I didn't have to post them in a public forum either. I liked my pics and offered no apologies.

She had to know that because of who she was that would happen--she is not naive--in fact she is a very smary young lady.

That said, I think she is gorgeous, intelligent and would be the kind of republican I would consider voting for--doesn't hurt she is easy on the eyes either--slaps that whole "pretty/sexy girls can't be smart" stereotype in the face.

A-- It looks to me that she bent over in front of a web cam to take the picture and that's why her cleavage is so delightfully obvious. Whether this was on purpose or not, the Lady McCain should get her head wrapped around the fact that she is in possession of a lovely full figure that gravity will affect when it's posed in such a manner. Even a guy like me who favors what follows behind more than what leads the way, will not be able to avoid appreciating true beauty when it's thrust in our face.

B-- I think this society really needs to grow up and deal with the reality that we like boobs. If not, we should stop wasting all that money on wonder bras and implants and such.
