Goldman Sachs

Thirty-three TARP recipients missed a scheduled dividend payment to taxpayers last month, according to the Treasury Department, including 18 banks that missed a payment for the first time. It's a powerful indication that the U.S. banking system remains troubled. And it throws cold water on talk that taxpayers are "making money" on the bailout.

Harpoon that squid, or chop off its tentacles...not just them, all the TBTF organizations. They all operate the same way, Goldman just had better connections. Like oxen, they can be useful if yoked, you just don't want them charging around. Regulate, and do it now. Clamp down hard, or the wrath of the people who have nothing left to lose would be a game changer.

In a word, NO.

We must starve out all of these big banks and financial institutions. Go to a smaller, local bank or credit union with your money.

Unemployment still out of control and unfortunately we do not have anything that even
resembles a jobs plan from our wonderful leaders. Bailouts, tarp, health plans but no jobs.

hat tip to: http://tiny.cc/financenews

If this is change we can believe in, count me out in 2012

Let's hear it for Goldman on more record-breaking profits this quarter!
Whoa! Whoa!

This is the just the latest dividend from their takeover and acquisition last year of the White House!!
Cheers to Bush & Obama - two sides of the same coin!

The global warming scam passed by Congress. Goldman Sachs is in the middle of it, as usual– a potential trillion dollar sure thing.

And Former Vice President Al Gore who will profit from the cap-and-trade plan through his company, Generation Investment Management,–
Gore is joined by three former Goldman Sachs heads in their carbon offsets business.

Agreed. File and collect if they owe you. If you owe them send a note stating you can no longer afford to provide funds for fiscal irresponsibility.

Was Goldman worth saving?

Easy answer. NO.

Why should we save them and the rest of the financial system with our taxpayer money so that they can pay 20 billion in bonuses this year while the rest of us are out of work or taking reductions in pay???

This is a criminal enterprise which needs to be stopped and stopped now.

“I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous than standing armies.
If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issues of currency...the banks and the corporations that grow up around them will deprive the people of their property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.†~ Thomas Jefferson ~
