What an adorable face this kids has, and I'm not just saying that because my youngest son looks like his gold hair little twin brother.. The resemblance is kind of spooky, they even have the same first name. I was in awe watching the trailer, the casting director couldn't have picked a more perfect boy for this movie. Going to see it tonight and I have a feeling it will top the meatball movie for a long time to come.

I agree. It seems like kismet that they cast him as Max. Even the names are the same. We love this book in our family too. It was a favorite in my growing up years and has become one in my children's. We are all very excited to go see the movie. I really love Spike, have since Sabotage.
