Glenn Beck Smears Progressives: They Used To Be Called 'Slave Owners' (VIDEO)

Glenn Beck ratcheted up his rhetoric, from an already high level, against progressives during a rant on his Fox News show today. Looking straight into the camera, and in all apparent seriousness, Beck warned that progressives have been working for years to strip Americans of their individual rights, and that in earlier times they would be called "tyrants" and "slave owners."

Well let's see, last night Glenn said that progressives generalize conservatives, or anyone not a liberal into three categorizes such as: 1. uneducated ..... 2. A fear-monger ............ 3. A greedy capitalist.

Well let's see. Glenns' analyst and comparison of slave owners to Progressives seem to illustrate the first case nicely. Glenns' calling the president a racist against white people and that his czars are really there to convert America into Extreme communism seem to outline the second one. And lastly, well let's look at the motivations that drive most of what Glenn says, such as praising the almighty dollar, and admitting that Obama merely wants to take away the freedom of corporations and enforce more strict regulations which he believes will destroy the country, by decreasing its wealth ratio (apparently corporations run this nation), all of that seem to express quite clearly the third case. It seems as though Glenn might have actually been onto something.

Since when were slave owners concerned about the health and well being of their citizens. Since when did slave owners believe in fairness and equality, and at worst the government should be the safety net should all else fail. Since when were slave owners concerned about civil justice and freedom. Since when were slave owners intellectual educated and debated issues with a clear and present mind, capable of presented facts and evidence where necessary. Sounds like those are qualities of Progressives and it seems as though Glenn has mixed it up with Corporalism.
