Glenn Beck Had Armed Body Guard, According To Page Six

Glenn Beck is using an armed bodyguard, according to the New York Post's Page Six.

The Fox News host who distrusts the government, has called President Obama a racist, and regularly stokes fears of a communist conspiracy, apparently attended a the Broadway musical Memphis the other night with an armed guard in tow--even to the men's room.

There are no public reports of violent threats against Beck, though Beck has previously joked about hurting others. In August, Beck pretended to poison House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

The Page Six item about Beck is titled "Take No Chances."

Rupert Murdoch's News Corp. owns both Fox News and the New York Post.

Glen Beck was the first to really dig into ACORN & Van Jones. Without his reports we would still have a Communist in the White House. ACORN would still be registering voters & gathering the census. None of the major news organizations CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, etc. reported about any of it until it was such a big story they used it as a byline. I'm not so blind as to not realize that ACORN & Van Jones will still be around in different areas or different name , for ACORN. I do feel confident that when they surface Glen will know about it & will let us know. Glen brought us Anita Dunn talking about how she admired Mao. Glen is so popular because he gives the information then leaves it up to the viewer to investigate further. Those of you who keep calling him a Republican do not watch his show or listen to his radio program. He is more of a Libertarian than either a Repub or Dem. I've listened to him for years on the radio long before he came to TV & I've heard him go after Bush & other Republicans just as strong as he has against the Democrats. So instead of taking sound bites & voicing your opinion without checking the true facts why don't you sit down for one week & listen to Beck for yourself. I dare you.

Keep in mind that Glenn resides in Connecticut, so he must have a resident concealed weapons permit from that state, as well as possibly non-resident permit(s) from one or more other states. New York, however, does not recognize any other state's concealed weapons permit, and I don't think that New York City even recognizes permits issued in other parts of the state of New York. Glenn has stated publicly that he carried concealed at the when he accompanied his family to the movie theater, which is why I assume he has a Connecticut concealed weapons license. Some posters on this site seemed to find that strange at the time it was disclosed. I don't know why. Seems no different than saying he fastened his seat belt and placed small children in car seats on the way to the movie theater.

I would CERTAINLY NOT PUT Beck in the same category as Dr. King. That projects that someone might think Beck has any sense or was doing anything like trying to get CIVIL RIGHTS PASSED or DESEGRATION ISSUES. If anybody goes after him, it will likely be somebody who had a family member die because of not getting the H1N1 injection because Beckanoia told them the government was putting communism (I swear) in the vaccine.
