Cnn Site Redesign

PaidContent:

The redesign itself is pretty standard: a less cluttered homepage, featuring more images and less text, plus more social media. Citizen journalism project iReport will no longer be a standalone site; users will be redirected to a section on the main site, which will allows users to continue to upload their photos and stories. CNN.com editors will vet stories and give the independent reports more formal play. All stories on CNN.com will allow comments as well.

The news site will also play up two areas that have remained more popular with users and advertiser: opinion and entertainment, with a particular tilt toward the latter category.

These days the electronic media in fact help to form the world view on any social news apart from many other International sensitive issues that have impact all over the world positively or negatively dependents how the leading Electronic Medias played up with the issue. Therefore, all electronic Medias must be sincere and extremely responsible minded particularly the each individual from top to bottom in the organization.

The employer and the employee need to be simply free of any partial feeling against. race, religion, color and cast or creed, because it is the dire need of true and impartial journalism needless to mention that without the above mention virtue in any Electronic/ Printing Media that media organization can't make a good stand in the professional competition in two days fast competitive world particularly in this profession.

Keeping the above mentioned prerequisites in view one is to not only redesign the organization only but also rewrite certain regulations and policy to maintain its standard falling flat and stand questionable to it doing to the public as it is in fact a public service provider.

CNN and BBC are the indisputable Electronic Medias.

Therefore, the authorities of the organization and the media experts will have to design its programs and appoint right people to the right place to play their role properly. The internal designing and programming is the prerogative of the organization's authority.

Wow is it terrible! I was rather shocked at how badly it shoves the "breaking news" to the side in favor of whatever show cnn is pimping. In my first viewing yesterday all thought was "I don't care about the Latina Martha Stewart! I want to see news about the bagdad bombings!" Sure it's there, but the viewers eyes are naturally drawn to the larger, centered fluff that cnn is pushing. I can tell my use of the site is about to drop off dramatically. It looks like CNN decided to copy the AJC's old website, one that they had to change because everyone who went to it thought the AJC was an entertainment magazine, not a city paper. Nice step back CNN.

I'll go to TMZ if i want entertainment news, The only people worth listening to on cnn our Carville, AC, and Ware. Who's actually going to read an opinion from Borger or Castellanos, especially after he admitted he is working as a pr guy for the insurance industry?

"More Video, Entertainment, Opinion.."... yep, that pretty much sums up CNN. More fluff, less news.

what do the people have to do to get some news?! haven't they heard that people actually read news want that????
i despise online video news packages. you have to watch a commercial for a 30-45 sec clip that includes no information. I don't want to interact with CNN and I have People if I want to read to about celebrities.

CNN's web site is just as despicable as their TV programming. So now their crappy site looks more like The Daily Beast. Big deal.

I agree with the recent remarks of Ted Turner. CNN needs to return to a comprehensive presentation of regional, national, and international news. By going into the regional markets for new reporting, they can add a rich variety to their programming.

i did not know they were changing the site and was surprised when i went there today. didn't like it much. but, i am adverse to change in such things.

now if they can only do something about playing their video feeds. i am getting tired of having to keep clearing my cache al the time and losing my settings just to watch news stories.

Hard news? Apparently, it goes the way of the dodo for CNN. Another one bites the dust.

Uh-huh. Because you know, there really isn't enough Oprah in the world.

We need more. In fact, why not just make ALL the channels Oprah channels and every site on the internet an Oprah site? Then we'll all know what her favorite jeans are and how to live our lives correctly down to the smallest and most intimate detail.

*sigh*
