No kidding. I missed the part where she asked to be a public figure.
It really bothers me to see this. How tasteless and creepy to see people following and photographing this kid like she's a zoo animal instead of someone who lost her dad. Pretty weak.
Where I am from, you cannot publish photos of a minor or child without a parental write-off. This should be a blanket rule, regardless of the celebrity of their parents. Outside of it being tasteless to see people following and photographing this kid like
Agreed.
Anyone home at this site?
Absolutely. I came to this post to say almost exactly what you have said. There should be a law against this. I remember how Sophia Lauren lived in total fear of her children being kidnapped.
Isn't it easy to see why Michael Jackson had his children's faces shielded when they were with him.
The media is targetting these celebrity children as fillers for lack of entertainment new stories.
All children should be left alone. Just because their parents are famous is no reason to torment them with cameras every step of their life.
Completely agree. The proof that photographers are following this child for profit is completely distasteful.
She looks like such a sweet, happy little girl in most of her photos I've seen.
That said, I really wish the paps would stick to taking pictures of the celebrity parents and leave the kids alone. They didn't go into the biz and they didn't ask for the unwanted publicity. Of course there are some celebrity parents who obviously pimp their kids for photo ops but Michelle Williams doesn't seem to be one of them. It's too bad this little girl couldn't go to school in peace.
Unlike the Cruises, who have never met a PR moment that they didn't like, this girls mother takes care not to parade her in front of the paps. Leave her alone.
Every parent raises their child differently, and who's the say what's right and wrong. These parents are a bit shy, Tom Cruise is not...
I noticed that when his older children were babies and his stardom was entrenched, Tom Cruise didn't allow so many PR moments with them. Now that his crown has slipped and he trying to prove that he's not a couch hopping loon, this baby is always out and about in the media.
I guess the sinless can cast all the stones.
How do you know about every Cruises' PR moments? Didn't think so.
Adorable little girl and suitably attired for the weather. Every time I see a picture of Suri Cruise, her parents are in flannel and she's in a summer frock. The difference in P-A-R-E-N-T-I-N-G is telling.
One cannot judge someone's parenting skills by looking at paparazzi photos. Only a fool would even try.
This makes no sense.... the day all parents raise their kids the same is the day we are in a controlled society. Some are shy some are not. Totally different personalities. A great read is Myers Briggs or the Enneagram to understand why people do what they do.
"Little Matilda Ledger was all smiles today despite the miserable rain" Wrong photo or wishful comment. So sad.
HUFFPOST: Leave the children alone. I know you aren't taking these eerie photos but you're making the unsettling decision to link to them on your site. The sanctity of childhood should be preserved as best as it can. Do you part and refuse to take part in this part of celebrity voyeurism.
Agree totally. Let this child alone.
CUTE CHILD..BUT WHY IS THIS NEWS? CHILDREN OF STARS HAVE ENOUGH PROBLEMS, PLUS LOSSING HER DAD, WHY MUST THIS SITE FOCUS ON THESE CHILDREN.
Also agree. Please stop putting pictures of children on this otherwise excellent site.
If you keep doing this, all the bad things that could happen, such as emotional trauma, abuse, rape, murder, kidnapping, are on you.
I second all these posts.
Leave the children alone.
Cute kid but who the heck cares? There's tens of millions of cute kids on this earth. I'm surprised that it's not pictures of her mom dropping her off at school in a Lexus SUV with wipers a blazin'.
For chrissakes, I used to walk to school in the rain all by myself and nobody, I repeat nobody took any pictures with their Brownies (of course I was not a cute blonde girl but an ordinary brown-eyed boy in "husky" pants). More incredibly, my old man swears that he used to walk to school uphill both ways in Amazonian, Arctic and sub-Saharan conditions! Not only that, he had to deliver 400 newspapers before he even trekked off to school and another 400 more after he got home.
Thank goodness for the demise of the "printed word."
It just goes to show that they don't make kids like they used to!
Are you even aware she recently lost her dad, Heath Ledger? Or just so incredibly self absorbed to think the photo is about YOUR own childhood.
