Michele Bachmann Was Gretchen Carlson's Nanny (VIDEO)

Tonight Keith Olbermann awarded conservative columnist George Will the medal for "World's Best Person" for his revelation that controversial Minnesota Congresswoman (R) Michele Bachmann was once the nanny of Fox & Friends host Gretchen Carlson.

Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia and CNN anchor Lou Dobbs also made the list.

She went to Stanford, too -- with a "self-designed major," the kind that lets you pass/fail all the electives you can find to take. And her trip to Oxford was one of those audit things anyone who pays the bill can do.

Please don't confuse her with Rachel Maddow who earned a degree in public policy from Stanford, was awarded its John Gardner Fellowship and a Rhodes Scholarship, and completed her Doctor of Philosophy degree in politics from Oxford. Dr. Maddow is a failure in one area of life, however. She's never been Miss America.

Stanford was famous for the "drop on the day of the final" policy back in those days. If you got into Stanford you better pass. Of course, with tuition of over $16,000 a year they don't mind students taking another to year to graduate.

She graduated from, yes, THAT Stanford, with a "self-designed major" in what she called "organizational behavior." (Is that like "brain-washing the public"?) A "self-designed major" lets you choose a lot of easy electives, usually pass/fail, and call it what you will. Her trip to Oxford, yes THAT Oxford, was one of those audit things anyone who pays the bill can do. (Daddy was a car dealer.)

Most of her bios don't mention that her first job in TV news was with WRIC in Richmond, Virginia, where she had an affair with a married anchor who was fired from the station largely as a result of his dalliance with the former Miss America.
