I wish I understand the complicated nuances of tribal conflict, government corruption, and cultural and religious influences that dictate the daily adversities the people of Afghanistan and the U.S. and U.N. troops have to sort through in their endeavors.

Fraudulent elections, drug dealers, CIA involvement, _Taliban, contractors, clerics, and insurgents all come together to muddle, incite, and just plain complicate everything! I don't know how anyone could propose a solution to this quagmire, let alone hope to "win" anything.
