Hot-headed NY1 political anchor Dominic Carter is due in court today after being accused by his wife of punching, choking and kicking her in their suburban home, The Post has learned.

Cops were called to the Carters' Rockland County house four times in the last two years for domestic disputes, police records show.

Personally, I don't think he is that good of a reporter. His moderating the first 2009 Mayoral Debate in NYC was a bomber. Stupid questions asked with a lightening rod segment (what?) Oh, well.

In broader context, again, sadly, part of a pathology; Dominic was not fortunate to have grown up in a story-book home environment, to put it mildly.

Wow, Dominic Carter always comes off as such a nice man, yet the article states that he's beaten his wife several times before. I'm surprised he's still the face of NY1, a cable news channel. I would think they would have fired him by now.
